Birthday Party FAQ
How long will the party go for?
Any birthday party will have 2 hours in their respective party spot. Additional hours can be purchased for $40 per hour.
How many people are allowed at the party?
Any party will get 12 guests in for free. Any more will require an additional cost of $5 per person for anyone ages 2 or more. Feel free to have as many people as you would like. Just make sure you choose the right rental spot that has capacity for your group size (see below).
Can we bring food and drinks?
You are more than welcome to! All we ask is that you do not bring alcohol to our park and keep any food and drink in your room/pavillion.
Are decorations okay?
We have found that most party goers like to bring their own decorations. Decorations need to be family friendly and non-offensive. We allow pinatas, but no fireworks. Speakers are allowed, but we do reserve the right to stop music if it is not age appropriate for our family park or too distracting to other patrons.
If something comes up and I have to cancel the party, can we get a refund?
The only portion of the party you have to pay before the day of the party is the $50 deposit which is nonrefundable. If something comes up, you will not be charged the full party price and we can add that deposit to another party date if you would like to reschedule to another date.
If there is good/bad weather, can we switch party rooms?
You are able to move to another space if it is available. If other spaces are reserved for another rental or party, we will not be able to move your party.
Am I able to pay for the entire party when I book?
We do allow that! Just be aware that if you want us to take a tally of adults coming, we will have to charge you after the party ends as well any additional guests.
Can we cook at the party?
We have no cookware available for party use. We do have outlets for use in certain rental spots, so feel free to bring anything that can be plugged in. Just make sure to reserve a space that has outlets. All party space will have outlets except for the Hideout Gulch.
Pavilions and Rooms
Rock Shelter
This is our most popular reservation for birthday parties. Being situated next to the playgrounds and outdoor restrooms makes it prime real estate for a party.
The Rock Shelter can accommodate up to 20 people comfortably.
Hideout Gulch
This space is not as close as the Rock Shelter to the playgrounds and restrooms, but it is still nearby. It does have more tables and more privacy. Note that it does not have outlets available.
The Hideout Gulch can accommodate up to 25 people comfortably.
Cutrubus
This is our largest space.
Cutrubus Field can accommodate up to 45 people at its tables, and has ample space surrounding it for more tables and chairs to fit even more.
ELC #1 and #2
This is our indoor space near the museum entrance.
Each ELC choice can hold up to 30 people comfortably. We can remove the room divider for an additional cost to allow for up to 60 people.
