New Upcoming Dinosaur Playground

Coming in July Our All-New ALL Abilities Playground!

We’re thrilled to announce the grand opening of our ALL Abilities Playground at Ogden’s George S. Eccles Dinosaur Park—a space designed for children of all abilities to play, explore, and imagine together!

Event Schedule:

  • 10:00 AM – Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

  • 10:30 AM – Playground opens to the Public

This inclusive play space is the result of incredible community support and a shared commitment to ensuring every child has the opportunity to experience the joy of play.

What’s Included in the New Dinosaur Playground?

The Momentum Corridor is an ADA Piece that is transferable from a wheel chair, and allows kids with upper body strength to pull themselves along and have a fun sensory and climbing experience. The Rollers make it fun to move along, and they give the kids a sensory experience.

The Cyclocone Plus Climber/Spinner has an opening at the bottom that is perfect transfer height, so kids can transfer to the spinner and have fun on that piece.

Thanks,

On the Glide Along (Zip Line) There is a standard disc seat for able-bodied children, and there is a bay with an ADA seat for kids of all abilities and all ages.

The Swings also include an ADA seat for kids with all abilities and ages.

The Main Tower System has a transfer point for kids in a wheelchair, which makes it accessible to those who can transfer.

We can’t wait to welcome you!

What's Happening to the Old Dinosaur Playground?

We will make every effort to preserve what we can of our existing playground. We would like to keep what we can as we know they are sentimental to many of our visitors and our team.

Stay tuned for additional updates….

Important Update: Temporary Park Closure

Due to an unforeseen construction project, the park will be temporarily closed from Sunday, June 22 through Wednesday, June 25.

This closure is necessary to complete essential work on our grounds which includes accessibility upgrades to our pathways for the much-anticipated new all-abilities playground, which will officially open on July 1.

Thank you for being a part of our community. We truly appreciate your support and patience.
